How this site is made

A small static site, built to be checked: every claim links to its source, no cookies follow you, and the fonts, maps and images are credited below. This page says how it is made, what it does not do, and how to tell me when something is wrong.

Principles

SourcesEvery recognition row, milestone and date links to a public source. Numbers from my own devices or accounts say so.

No trackingNo cookies of my own. Page views are counted in aggregate with Vercel Web Analytics, which runs from this domain, sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you. The one exception is the LinkedIn page, which embeds posts from linkedin.com; LinkedIn may set its own cookies inside those frames.

Logos identify sourcesOrganisation marks appear only to point at a record and belong to their owners; no endorsement is implied.

CorrectionsIf something is wrong, email me. I fix mistakes and the footer shows the date of the last change.

Training data: distances, times and routes from my Strava account through its API; the page says when it was last synced
