2022 → 2026The Global Series summit for senior HSE leaders, two days in Birmingham. A 40-minute keynote on rethinking SIF prevention: why the serious-injury rate has not moved in fifteen years, and what changes when computer vision watches for the precursors.
A round-table event for chief operating officers, about 22 in the room. My 40-minute keynote, “The Operational Blind Spot: What You Can’t See Is Costing You”, on the cost of what plants do not measure, and how safety and operations data are the same data.

Most factories already have cameras. I talk about what changes when they can notice an unsafe moment and tell someone in time.

Serious injuries don’t come from the same places as minor ones. I talk about how we measure the ones that were prevented, and why that matters to the people on the floor.
Getting the floor to trust the machine
A camera that watches people is easy to resent. I talk about what it took for teams to trust ours, and what we got wrong at first.
